About Me

Hey there – I’m Mike Nielsen, and welcome to Mr Spyer If you’ve stumbled upon this site expecting a stealth game or something out of a spy novel, you’re not entirely off-track – just not in the way you might think. While I don’t disable lasers or infiltrate secure facilities (at least not on weekdays), I’ve spent most of my career in a different kind of intelligence-gathering – the digital kind.

I’ve always had a knack for seeing what others overlook – digging beneath the surface of digital footprints to find the real story behind performance, trends, and user behavior. For over a decade, I’ve helped businesses gain a clearer view of their competitors and their market. But after years of working behind dashboards, parsing through code, and building software, I realized there was something missing: the human side of discovery.

That’s how Mr Spyer was born. Originally, it was little more than a placeholder – a WordPress install with big ambitions and zero content. It sat quietly online, often mistaken for a game site or a marketing experiment. But to me, it was a seed. I knew that when the time was right, I’d use it as a space for something more personal, more grounded in everyday experience.

That time arrived in 2025, when I decided to turn this site into a living journal of sorts – a blog where I could share honest, first-hand product reviews and personal insights. Not the kind of reviews written after a five-minute test drive or copied from a press release. I’m talking about real usage, real opinions, real analysis. I write about the tools I work with, the gadgets I try, the wellness products I experiment with, and even the unexpected items that surprise me. If it’s practical, curious, clever, or even a little odd – I’ll likely have something to say about it.

These days, Mr Spyer is where digital meets personal – where a lifelong spy on trends, tools, and tech shares what works and what doesn’t in real life. No fluff. No marketing jargon. Just the kind of reviews I wish I had before buying anything new.

Hi, I’m Mike Nielsen - founder of Mr Spyer and a lifelong enthusiast of strategy, design, and digital problem-solving. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats in the tech space. The name “Mr. Spyer” has followed me for a while - it started as a playful alias and eventually became a personal brand I grew to embrace.

In 2025, I decided to pivot. Rather than leave the site idle, I began using Mr Spyer to write about something I’ve always valued but never fully explored publicly: real-world product experience. Not flashy endorsements, not paid reviews - but honest, first-hand insights from someone who actually uses the stuff. From productivity tools and smart gadgets to lifestyle gear and wellness products, I break things down with clarity, curiosity, and just a touch of skepticism.
